This chapter covers cocoa and the food preparations made from it. Cocoa paste, whether or not defatted, along with chocolate and other food preparations containing cocoa, belong here. Under the chapter notes, sugar confectionery containing cocoa and other cocoa-bearing food preparations are gathered under heading 18.06, subject to the limit set in note 1.

(b) 04.03, 19.01, 19.02, 19.04, 19.05, 21.05, 22.02, 22.08, 30.03 ve 30.04 pozisyonlarında yer alan müstahzarlar
dahil değildir.
2. İçinde kakao bulunan şeker mamulleri ve bu fasılın (1) no'lu notundaki hükmü saklı kalmak şartıyla,
kakao içeren diğer gıda müstahzarları 18.06 pozisyonunda yeralır.
