What this chapter covers

This chapter covers wool, fine or coarse animal hair, the yarns spun from them and the fabrics woven from those yarns; horsehair yarn and woven fabric also appear in the chapter title. The notes define three terms: "wool" means the natural fibre obtained from sheep or lambs, "fine animal hair" means hair of alpaca, llama, vicuna, camel, yak, Angora, Tibetan or Kashmir goats, rabbit, hare, beaver, nutria and musk-rat, and "coarse animal hair" means the hair of all other animals. Classification then follows the source animal, whether the fibre has been carded or combed, and whether the yarn is put up for retail sale.

1. Tarifenin neresinde geçerse geçsin:

(a) " Yapağı ve yün " tabiri, koyun veya kuzulardan elde edilen tabii lifler anlamındadır;

(b) " İnce hayvan kılı " tabiri, alpaka, lama, vikuna, deve (tek hörgüçlü deve dahil), yak kılı ve Ankara,

Tibet, Kaşmir veya benzeri keçilerin (adi keçiler hariç) ve tavşan (Ankara tavşanı dahil), yabani tavşan,

kunduz, Güney Amerika kunduzu ve misk faresinin kılı anlamındadır;
